COMMON LAUREL – LAURUS NOBILIS

It is an evergreen circum-Mediterranean species suitable for rather mild climates, which thanks to ongoing climate changes has already been becoming spontaneous for several years throughout our plains and hills.

In favorable conditions it can reach 6, 10 meters in height, forming large, more or less rounded, very dense and shady bushes. It forms barriers that are impenetrable to sight. Laurel leaves are distinguished by their characteristic scent which makes them also usable in the kitchen.
