SMALL-LEAVED LIME TREE – Tilia cordata

Large tree with a growing growth in youth which later becomes characteristic oval-shaped. Very regular, dense and shady foliage.

Of all the Lime trees, it is the one that best tolerates drought and heat, is sensitive to sunburn during the rooting phase, and slows down its growth rate in dry conditions. Due to climate change it should only be planted in medium fertile and fresh soil.
